Quantitative Methods in Biodiversity, Conservation and Epidemiology
Programme Structure
This programme will involve a mixture of required and optional 10-credit courses which you can mix and match to fit your own research interests and career plans to result in a taught component of 120 credits. A prescribed combination of courses to result in specialisation in one of the thematic streams will be provided but students will have flexibility within this to incorporate components from the other streams.
If you meet the required marks based on continuous assessment across the 120 credits, you will undertake an independent research project under the supervision of a member of staff from the Institute of Biodiversity, Animal Health and Comparative Medicine, the School of Life Sciences or another Institute within the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences. Marks will be tabulated at the end of both semesters 1 and 2 and, if you are not meeting the standard for progressing to a full MSc, you will be allowed a resit.
