Background

The programme is primarily based in the British Heart Foundation Glasgow Cardiovascular Research Centre (BHF GCRC) which is the base for many leading experts in the field of diabetes and cardiovascular research.

The BHF GCRC is a vibrant environment with excellent research facilities for both basic and clinical science.  The close involvement of many clinically active staff in delivering the Programme and the excellent interface between clinical and basic scientists provides a unique opportunity to gain knowledge in the field of diabetes research.
