"Crop Biotechnology is a course that combines both teaching sessions with practical work.  Despite the fact that it is a taught degree, there are three extensive laboratory sessions throughout the year which I personally enjoyed the most.  All the members of staff are always very willing to help, approachable and great in their fields.  The greatest part of this course is that you get the chance to work in research laboratories of the school where you meet research students and post-docs, all very happy to share their knowledge and assist you with your project.  After the completion of this course I will return home to Cyprus and work for the 'Agriculture Research Institute'.  Furthermore, this course has given me enough knowledge and lab skills to seek a PhD and a research career.  I believe that this course is suitable for anyone that wants to work in the Plant Science field and I definitely recommend it."
