"Choosing Glasgow was a last minute decision when preparing for study in England.  I accidentally saw a picture of the University of Glasgow and thought "why not Glasgow, why not Scotland?" and changed my mind.  I was so lucky to see that picture as I enjoy my time here so much.  I have many friends who speak English with their own accents - Greek, French, Spanish, Thai... I walk across a beautiful garden every day and enjoy my dancing classes at the University's sport centre as well as my time in pubs with close and many other new friends.  My only worries are about my studies as I know the professors demand very high standards in our performance here and how to manage my money during the January (shopping) sales.  I have only one regret - I should have brought a better umbrella!"
