Student Award Agency for Scotland (SAAS)
Eligible (Scottish domiciled and EU) full-time or part-time students who have accepted a postgraduate place on the programme can apply directly to Student Award Agency for Scotland (SAAS) for a loan to cover up to £3400 towards their tuition fees.
MSc Applied Carbon Management Scholarships
The MSc in Applied Carbon Management currently has two dedicated scholarships, equivalent of the Home/EU fees, for the best applicants, and a bursary which makes a contribution to the fees. This funding is organised through the Crichton Carbon Centre - further information can be obtained from the Crichton Carbon Centre (email info@carboncentre.org)
Two RSK Scholarships
The RSK Group is an environmental consultancy firm with staff across 39 strategic locations in the UK, Europe, The Gulf and Caspian regions. RSK has been supporting this MSc since 2008 in the form of financial assistance to top achieving students. These scholarships cover the full Home/EU fees.
SSE Bursary
Scottish and Southern Energy offers a bursary which contributes to the fees; the successful student will also have the opportunity to undertake a work placement project with the organisation, if they are suitable. SSE will be involved in the selection process for the the recipient of this bursary (please note that this may not occur until after teaching has started in September each year).
Kazakhstan Scholarship: £2000 fee discount
The University of Glasgow will apply a £2000 discount to the international fees for this one year full-time postgraduate taught masters programme for entry in September 2012. The discount will be applied at registration. No additional application is required. This scholarship is available to students from Kazakhstan only and cannot be combined with other scholarships offered by the University of Glasgow. Contact: rio-scholarships@glasgow.ac.uk
