Animal Reproduction MSc

Excellent MRes/MSc students will be considered for an annual PhD scholarship award (one per annum). International students will be considered but would be required to contribute the Home/EU-International fee differential or apply to the School/Institute for this support.

This Masters in Animal Reproduction is unique as it does not limit study to cattle, sheep or horses, but covers reproduction in all of the major farm (cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry), companion and exotic animal species.

  • This programme is delivered by e-learning.
  • The MSc also addresses new developments in reproductive technologies and subjects of emerging importance worldwide, such as reproductive toxicology.
  • If you are a veterinarian or a non-veterinarian with relevant qualifications and/or background experience (such as  agriculture, animal/equine science, zoology, other life sciences), this programme is designed for you.
  • You will be taught by academics who are considered to be producing work that is world-leading. Veterinary Medicine research at Glasgow is ranked top in Scotland and joint top in the UK in the most recent independent survey of research quality, the RAE 2008.
