The M.Litt. in ancient drama is designed to be of interest to a wide constituency of applicants: graduates in Greek, Latin or Classical Civilisation; literary specialists, historians and students of material culture. It provides a number of pathways to postgraduate research.

The aims of the programme are to provide a thorough training in research methodology in Classics, a flexible and varied range of options for advanced study in topics related to drama in the Greco-Roman world, and an opportunity for students to develop their skills and pursue their detailed interests both in taught modules and in the dissertation.
