Aerospace Systems
Programme structure
As an Aerospace Systems MSc student, you will complete a series of taught modules over two semesters and an individual project and dissertation during the summer.
The first semester runs from October to January and consists of six modules:
- Aerospace control I
- Aircraft handling qualities and control
- Aircraft operations and systems
- Navigation systems
- Simulation of aerospace systems
- Aerospace systems team design project (phase I)
The second semester runs from February to May and consists of:
- Aerospace control II
- Autonomous vehicle guidance systems
- Radar and electro-optic tracking systems
- Fault detection, isolation and reconfiguration
- Real time control hardware implementation
- Aerospace systems team design project (phase II)
Summer work consists of an individual project and MSc dissertation.
