How to apply for a taught degree
Before starting your application we strongly recommend that you consult this site and review any relevant information for prospective postgraduate students on the appropriate Graduate School web pages via the links to the right.
To apply for a postgraduate taught programme, you need to provide:
- Final or current undergraduate degree transcript (and an official translation) - scanned copy in colour of the original document
- Degree certificate (and an official translation) - scanned copy in colour of the original document
- 2 references on headed paper (academic and/or professional - see course entry requirements)
- Any additional document specifically listed on the Taught degree programmes A-Z
- copy of your passport (photopage) - non-EU applicants only
If English is not your first language, you will be required to provide a language test before you can start your studies. Please see details of our English Language requirements.
Please note scanned applications sent by email and postal applications are not normally accepted. If it is not possible for you to use the online application system then please contact the Admissions Team to discuss another way to make an application. Documents received without an application already filled-in will not be considered and will be discarded.

Apply online
The only way to apply for admission to a postgraduate taught degree is to Apply online. Fill out the standard application form online and attach a scanned copy of the supporting documents listed above. Instructions are provided throughout the online form and you can consult the Applicants' Guide to Online Application to help you complete your application. You may save and return to your application as many times as you wish before submitting it. You may also access your application again to upload additional documents such as your language test or final transcript.
