How do I defer my offer?

Contact us by letter or by email requesting a deferral, with a brief explanation for this request. We cannot accept requests by phone. Please put DEFER in the subject line of the email and clearly state your full name and application number and date of birth. Please note, if you wish to defer, you should do so before the end of the year in which you originally applied, i.e. October , or your application will be destroyed in acordance to Data Protection regulations.

I requested my offer to be deferred a month ago and I have still not heard from you.

We try to process deferrals the day we receive them, but this is not possible during the busiest times of the year (late June until the end of September). If you request a deferral during these months, it will not be processed for a few weeks (although we will try to confirm receipt of your request). If you have not heard from us by the end of October, please contact us again to check we received your request.

Will my deferred offer be identical to the original offer?

Normally it will be the same offer. Fees however will be updated in line with the new session. Your offer may also be revised if entry requirements for the programme have changed.
