About us
University of Glasgow Sport is responsible for all the facilities and sports programmes (health and fitness, recreational and club sport) delivered to our University community. Glasgow University Sports Association (GUSA) is the student public face of Sport at Glasgow and they actively engage and promote our programme across campus to all students.
We are a large and dynamic service department that manages and develops the sport provision at the University of Glasgow. We have over 80 full-time and part-time staff who work hard to ensure special and rewarding experiences for our members.
We firmly believe that there are huge benefits to participating in sport and are committed to reducing any barriers to taking part. We have over 15,000 members and over 2,000 people use our facilities on a daily basis. This represents one of the highest participation rates in all the UK universities!
