The University regrets the inconvenience this will cause but will do everything it can to mitigate this situation.

Once the new building is completed  in 2019, more cycle spaces will be provided.

Part of the Boyd Orr bike shelter will be installed on the same day at the back of the Sir Graeme Davies building; the remaining spaces will be made available at another location once planning permission has been granted.

Bike shelter users who are staff based in the Wolfson Medical School should be aware that a rack has  been installed in the underground car park. To get access, they MUST contact Christine Donnelly first. Use of this rack (8 spaces available) is encouraged to take pressure off the bike parking in front of the Medical School, which is extremely popular.

Another nearby alternative is at the entrance of the Sir Alwyn Williams building (at the back entrance of Boyd Orr), although this tends to be busy.

There are still some keys available for the bike shed at the side of the Boyd Orr, which can be obtained for a deposit of £5 by emailing travelplanning@glasgow.ac.uk
