University Services Innovation Fund - bid now

Published: 19 September 2017

Please read this call for proposals for the 2017/18 University Services Innovation Fund.

The University Services Innovation Fund was created by the University Services Leadership Team (USLT) to support novel initiatives and projects that will enhance the quality of service provided by University Services. Specifically, it is designed to enable cross service initiatives involving collaboration between a minimum of two services which would not otherwise evolve from the normal service budget planning process. Critically, each project funded will be clearly aligned to the University's Strategy. Collaboration between University Services and the Colleges wherever appropriate is also encouraged.

USLT is now issuing a call for proposals for 2017-18: bids are invited for small (up to £5K) and large (£5K to £20K) projects. Bids are to be submitted by the closing date of Friday 20 October with funding from 1 November at the earliest. Further information, including criteria for the award, is available on the MyGlasgow SharePoint portal (GUID Log-in):

All University Services are eligible to bid for funds and USIF funding may be used to match other funding. All proposals received will be considered by the University Services Leadership Team with the announcement of successful projects in early November.
