LEADS Launch Open Day - Wednesday 12th July

Formed in January 2017, the Learning Enhancement and Academic Development Service (LEADS) is holding an Open Day on Wednesday 12th July to launch our services for the 2017/18 academic year.  You are warmly invited to come along and get a taste of what we offer and how we can support you and your students.

We will be running workshop and information sessions throughout the day in our two buildings, Southpark House and the McMillan Reading Room, as well as drop-in sessions in our TV studio in Southpark House and in the Reading Room. Full details of the day can be found below, so do come along for all or part of the day and find out more about the work we do to enhance learning and teaching across the University. 

Drop-in sessions:

  • 9.30-10.00 - An opportunity to network with LEADS staff. Student-facing in room 315, McMillan Reading Room and staff-facing in the reception, Southpark House
  • 10.00-12.00 & 13.30-15.30
    - Maths and Stats drop-in and information, room 315, McMillan Reading Room
    - Academic Development Process Mapping: Identifying the sources of information for academic development for students at the University of Glasgow, room 315, McMillan Reading Room
    - Media drop-in: The Media team will demonstrate the studio facilities and equipment and answer questions on producing high quality materials to support teaching, learning and research
