Binding: 19th-century half calf over pasteboards; black paper-covered sides (leather and paper decorated with floral rolls and ornaments in blind); marbled-edged leaves. Size: 317 x 232 mm.
Leaf size: 307 x 218 mm.
Annotations: Very occasional traces of early manuscript signatures; 19th-century note in ink on this edition, signed “J.B.S”, pasted onto front cover; 19th-century numbers “2004” in ink and “S121” in pencil on front pastedown, together with two price codes; 19th-century number “28” in pencil on rear pastedown.
Decoration: Paragraph marks supplied in alternate red and blue throughout both parts; six-line initial “P” supplied in blue on 2/3r (f. 9r) of part I.
Imperfections: Wanting the blank leaves 6-8 of part I.
