CLEANING SERVICES
Cleaning Services is part of the Estates Directorate. We provide daily cleaning services across the University Estate early each morning, with essential teaching areas being cleaned before 09:00.

Emergency Cleaning Support
For emergency cleaning support outwith these hours (for example, floods, body fluid spillage or hypodermic needle collection), call 0141 330 4282.
Carpet Cleaning
Several different carpet cleaning treatments and methods are available.
To arrange a survey of your carpet please complete a Service Request Form.
There is no charge for carpet cleaning during our normal hours of operation; however, outside these hours there is a fee and you will be asked to provide a budget centre code.
Menstrual Hygiene Bin Collection
External contractor PHS supply and service menstrual hygiene bins on a monthly basis.
If you require an additional bin or your bin is full, please complete a Service Request Form and we will arrange for it to be delivered, uplifted or replaced.
Hand-dryer Repairs
If your hand-dryer is not working, please submit a Maintenance Request so that we can assess the fault and arrange for it to be fixed.
Laundry Services
We can launder hand towels and tea towels in-house.
We can arrange external cleaning of dust control mats and cabinet roller towels via Johnsons Apparelmaster.
