Kayaking
across the Clyde at 10 knots. Leaving McInroy's Point, by Gourock on Western
Ferries.
Empty
roads on the Cowall peninsula.
Heading
south for Sgat Mor accompanied by a seal and eider ducks.
Sgat
Mor, populated by lesser black backed gulls, red shanks and cormorants.
Crystal
clear water in Asgog Bay. Whooper swans and eider duck were noisy in the
bay. A golden eagle wheeled silently overhead.
Asgog
Bay, a stop for bacon butties. There is no truth in the rumour we live on
roast puffin..
Asgog
Bay, it's a pity the haze hid the peaks of Arran.
Rounding
the south end of Sgat Beag. The mussels here were not just large but vivid
blue.
Heading
north again from Sgat Beag past Asgog Bay in the distance.
Mull
of Kintyre behind Sgat Mor.
