Please note this information is only for students who need to extend their existing student visa in the UK. Students who need to apply for a student visa to start a new course will receive the CAS after acceptance of the unconditional offer.
How to request a Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) for your student visa extension application.
An important part of your visa application is the CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Study) which will provide you with 30 of the 40 points awarded for your application.
Where you go to request your CAS will depend upon the College in which you are studying. Please refer to the below table to work out where you should go.
When you request your CAS you must take your current passport and any other, if it includes your current visa, so that the information it contains can be verified.
