If you go to New Zealand you should definitely visit Milford Sound and take a roadtrip with a group of friends. There is nothing better than driving around and seeing amazing sights, have a laugh and know that you get to do it all over again the next day.

I play rugby, love the outdoors and am a keen fly fisher and New Zealand is one of the best places in the world for all three so I knew I could not pass up on the opportunity to spend a year there. To sum up my experience in three words would be unbelievable, amazing and awesome and I would encourage anyone to study abroad. Don't worry about what it will be like and what you will miss, just do it! You will make new friends and if you are open to new things it will probably be one of the best things you ever do in your life.

Studying abroad has helped me in so many ways. I now feel that there is no situation I couldn't adapt to or no problem I couldn't solve. I don't get flustered or stressed when things go wrong, I just take it in my stride and try to fix it. I moved to a new country and travelled extensively all on my own and this has definitely given me a new found confidence.
