The University of Glasgow has a long established relationship with Austria and we have been welcoming students here for many decades. Our Austrian graduates include influential members of industry, academics and health professional among many others. At Glasgow, you will study to gain an internationally respected degree, but we can guarantee you much more besides. Entry requirements

We welcome students to the University of Glasgow with a variety of different qualifications. Therefore we have a team of experts that will equate any of the qualifications you hold to our entry requirements. All you have to do, is let us know the type of qualification you have and the grade you hold in it.

Undergraduate

Maturazeugnis

For students studying the Maturazeugnis we usually ask for a 1 overall for entry to our courses in Arts and Social Science , and Mit ausgezeichnetem Erfolg bestanden (1.5) for science courses. 

International Baccalaureate

Applications with 32-36 points will be considered for direct admission to most schools. Please note that there are certain exceptions.

Postgraduate

We will consider applications to Masters degrees from graduates holding a Bachelors Degree, Diplomstudium or Magister. Applicants with a GPA of 3.0 or above in the Bachelors and Gut or 2 in the Diplomstudium and Magister may be considered for postgraduate study.
