Entry requirements

We welcome students to the University of Glasgow with a variety of different qualifications. We have a team of experts that will equate any of the qualifications you hold to our entry requirements. All you have to do, is let us know the type of qualification you have and the grade you hold in it.

Undergraduate

Maturazeugnis

For students studying the Maturazeugnis the minimum requirements we would accept would be the following:

Applicants must study a minimum of 4 subjects in the final year of compulsory education. They must achieve a grade 1.0 overall (sehr gut) with sehr gut (1) in all subjects.

International Baccalaureate

A minimum of 34 points is required to be considered for an offer. Actual offers will specify subjects and grades to be attained at Higher Level.

Postgraduate

We will consider applications to Masters degrees from graduates holding a Bachelors Degree, Diplomstudium or Magister. Applicants with a GPA of 3.0 or above in the Bachelors and Gut or 2 in the Diplomstudium and Magister may be considered for postgraduate study.
