Summer Schools and Short Term programmes are available to full time undergraduate students from all subject backgrounds registered at the University of Glasgow.
This is a unique opportunity to:

The University of New South Wales Study Abroad Summer School in Australia
21 June – 26 July 2013
UNSW are pleased to announce that their Summer School will be running in 2013 with the following courses:
- Sport, Law and Society in Australia
- Australian Studies: History, Politics and Aboriginal Culture
- Tourism and Event Management: Sustaining the Attraction of Australia
- International Business: Australia and South East Asia
- Australian Environment, Wildlife and Conservation
- Energy Tomorrow: An Engineering and Management Perspective
The 2013 program will be 5 weeks/ 75 course contact hours in duration and worth 6 units of UNSW academic credit. The program price for students who apply directly to UNSW Study Abroad will be $6550AUD.
This program price includes tuition; all accommodation; excursion costs; airport shuttle services; orientation program; internet device; a UNSW student card (allowing access to all UNSW facilities); breakfasts and lunches in Sydney, breakfasts in Cairns; breakfasts in the specific three-day course locations that each group will travel to, including Canberra; Melbourne and the Blue Mountains, and all meals when camping in Kakadu National Park. Meals will also be provided for ‘Wildlife’ students visiting the Daintree. The program fee does not include other meals or airfares.
UNSW Study Abroad will be offering two $1000AUD Part Tuition Scholarships for those students applying directly to UNSW Study Abroad.
Wuhan University Summer Program 2013 in China

Universite Catholique de Lille 2013 European Summer Program in France

The European Summer Program is a 4-week study abroad program made for international students wanting to study in France in June and July. Courses are available in Political Science, Business, Arts, Culture, Communication, Engineering, Environment and Sustainable Development.
Universite Catholique de Lille’s summer courses are designed as a package including accommodation, orientation, fieldtrips, social program, a good meal plan, optional activities and services.

Justus Liebig University Giessen International Summer Course 2013 in Germany
29 August – 27 September 2013
The International Summer Course is held in September and offers 4 weeks (96 hours) of instruction in the German language, with a focus on basic grammar, cultural background, text production and communicative skills.
The special character of the International University Summer Course resides in its program of individual mentoring. Not only does this approach help you to get acquainted with the University, but it also introduces you to the city of Giessen and its environs. The International Summer Course also runs excursions (to Frankfurt am Main and Heidelberg, for example) and interactive workshops on such topics as video, newspapers, theater, dancing, and cooking. At the end of the Summer Course, participants receive a certificate detailing the number of ECTS points (4) obtained.

EM Strasbourg International Summer School 2013 in France

It is now time to apply for EM Strasbourg’s International “European Business” Summer Program. This is a four week program, and this year EM is running two sessions.
The program includes:
- Challenging and thought provoking classes on how business is conducted in Europe.
- Case studies and team-building projects that help students develop their problem-solving, decision making and interpersonal skills.
- Presentations from international guest speakers,
- Visits to a variety of companies such as: Mercedes, Heineken, Steelcase, Mars, Smart, WeberHaus, ADI (Alsace Development International), Wine Industry, in conjunction with the classes taught.
- Cultural visits: Haut- Koenigsbourg castle, Sipp winery, guided tour of Strasbourg. Students will discover the beautiful region of Alsace in the East of France.

Sciences Po Language Summer School 2013 in France

Sciences Po are re-conducting their Sciences Po language Summer School, in 2013. This year is a very special edition with two exceptional programmes, one hosted on their Paris campus and the other located on their Menton campus.
Language Summer School in Menton: A 3 week programme at beginner, intermediate or advanced levels, with 48 hours of classes.
French Language Summer School in Paris: a 74 hour programme of French, at beginners’ level with small-sized classes and individual tutorials, or a 84 hour programme of French, intermediate and advanced levels, with rigorous language practice through theatre, workshops and classes about French history and institutional frameworks.

Grenoble INP Summer School Programme 2013 in France
3 June – 5 July 2013
It is with great pleasure that Grenoble University announce the opening of registration for their summer school program of 2013 in Micro & Nanotechnology. This session will offer two minors in either NanoBiology or NanoPhysics. This program is intended for students at the Bachelor level in Physics, Biology and Chemistry who want to get an introduction to the NanoSciences and get a feel for education in France.
The summer school program is the result of an active partnership between Grenoble INP (Grenoble Institute of Technology), the Politecnico di Torino in Italy and the EPFL Lausanne in Switzerland. It combines an innovative academic program, lab work in clean rooms and a series of partners’ campus tours as well as visits to a number of high level research facilities.
Grenoble are also pleased to offer a social program that includes an international weekend in the mountains, city tours, oenology classes, as well as welcome and farewell receptions.
The program is offered at a cost of €1300 to students and this includes accommodation in student residences, participation in all classes and labs, visits to research centers and partner university campuses, cultural trips and social activities. It does not include travel costs to and from Grenoble, meals, or personal expenses.

KU Leuven Summer Courses 2013 in Belgium

This year KU leuven will be running two separate summer courses:
The EU inside out is actually a joint venture of KU’s Arts, Economics/Business, Law, and Social-Science Faculties. It offers site visits plus 60 hours with talks, on six themes (of which each student follows three).
Principles of International Business Finance combines regular classes (40 contact hours) with assignments or reading work, and site visits or guest speakers.
Both take place in Brussels (week 1) and Leuven (week 2). In an optional third week, you visit six international institutions on your way through the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, France, and back to Belgium. Students can also take an exam (IntFin) or write one or two papers (EU) and receive a transcript. The deal includes four afternoons with site visits; two one-day social trips (to Bruges/Ypres and Antwerp) during the weekend; optional health insurance and access to all sports facilities and university restaurants; and welcome and farewell dinners (with the Chief of Staff of the EU President as keynote speaker).

Leyden-Amsterdam-Columbia Summer Program 2013 in Amsterdam

The 51th session of the Leyden-Amsterdam-Columbia Summer Program in American Law (session 2013) will be held at the Amsterdam Law School of the University of Amsterdam.
As from 1963, every year with great success, switching between the Dutch cities Leiden and Amsterdam, the Program is organized in collaboration with the Columbia Law School in New York. Professors from Columbia fly over to introduce promising legal professionals and law students from Europe and elsewhere, to the key elements of American Law. The Program is especially interesting for those who, to broaden their perspective in their job or law studies, seek a thorough introduction to American Law.
Stockholm University School of Business Summer Programme 2013 in Sweden
15 July – 16 August 2013
The following courses will be offered this summer: Public Sector Accounting, Marketing in Tourism and Hospitality, International Strategic Management and Responsible Investment. Each of which will be worth 6 ECTS credits. Students are welcome to choose from one, two or all of the courses. Housing will be provided in Stockholm University’s student housing. In addition to coursework, an extracurricular program will be arranged with social and cultural events.
The courses are on the undergraduate level and are suitable for students with a wide range of backgrounds, including students with other majors than business. The fees, indicated on the application form, will cover actual costs for housing, public transportation in Stockholm, course materials and cultural events/excursions.

Sun Yat-sen University International Summer Program 2013 in China

SYSU have run three summer programs in July every year since 2010. The core component and highlight of the program is Chinese Language, Chinese Politics, Cultural Studies, and Economics of Pearl River Delta Area, the South of China where SYSU locates. Besides the in-class sessions, SYSU also arrange city tours and local company visits for the students.
The program offers two courses as followings:

Università di Torino Italian Language and Culture Summer Programs 2013 in Italy

Università di Torino are pleased to announce their 2013 Italian Language and Culture Summer Programs. The programs include:

Universidad de Navarra International Summer University Program 2013 in Spain

Universidad de Navarra, Spain is running their second International Summer University program which takes place from 15 July to 9 August 2013. Their four-week program consists of a course in Spanish language and culture and a selection of courses across disciplines including the humanities, social sciences and life sciences, taught in English, as well as a range of extra-curricular activities.

Corvinus University of Budapest Summer School 2013

Corvinus Universityare happy to announce the launch of their Corvinus Summer School in summer 2013. Interdisciplinary Summer Academy 2013 in Bremen, Germany - Language and Colonialism
