Please note: there will be no exchanges to the University of Auckland or the University of Virginia in 2012-2013 and that we have a new exchange with UNESP in Brazil (please note students will require L1 Portugeuse).

Universitas 21

The University of Glasgow is a founder member of a partnership of similar Universities called Universitas 21 (U21).

Academic Year

Please note the different academic year in Australia and New Zealand. You have to take their second semester starting in July, followed by a break from December to February, then the first semester finishing in late June.

Language Year

It is possible to spend your language year in some partner Universities. Although formal credit is not obtained for these courses, a full academic load MUST be taken, and all assignments and exams completed - this allows great flexibility in the selection of courses. Those who are not specifically language students, but whose command of the language is strong, might also consider this option.
