Venue

Glasgow is Scotland's largest city and is surrounded by some of the most
breathtaking scenery in Western Europe, made famous down the years in verse and song.

Today, the city has emerged as the cultural, commercial and
convention capital of Scotland.
The Congress will be held in the Gilmorehill
building of the University of Glasgow, which is one of the most impressive academic venues
in the UK for conferences.

Located in the heart of the bustling West End of the city,
the university is only 2 miles from the City Centre and 8 miles from Glasgow Airport. The
neo-Gothic 19th century campus is set in beautiful, breathtaking surroundings and is one
of the city's greatest icons.

For ICC6, the Bute Hall was used for plenary lectures, and
three adjacent lecture theatres around the quadrangle were also used, to accommodate the
four breakout sessions. A large area for poster and trade displays was provided in
the Hunter Halls and the Old Archive. All locations were wheelchair accessible.
