of "forwards" or "in front of" as in - the common peroneal nerve passes
anteriorly (i.e. forwards) around the neck of the fibula
- the adductor longus muscle lies anterior to (i.e. in front of)
the adductor brevis muscle
- branches of the femoral nerve supply skin over the anterior
(i.e. front) surface of the thigh.
