Marine Mammal Option

Session 2013–2014

I would like to apply for a place on the Marine Mammal Biology Option in the summer vacation (7-17 July 2013). I understand that in order to attend the field course, I shall be required to:

  1. Provide all of the details requested on page 1 of this form
  2. Pay the full course cost of £665 †. A deposit of £65 is required and full balance paid 1 month prior to the start of the course.
  3. Attend any/all of the information sessions prior to the field course.

†Accommodation will be provided at the University Marine Biological Station (UMBSM) student hostel (single sex twin room) and at Arle Lodge, Mull http://www.arlelodge.co.uk/ (single sex 2-4 per room). All meals will be provided at UMBSM but on Mull it is self catering and you must pay for your own meals for 4 days. Students are expected to make their own way to/from Millport. Please note that this is a joint course with students from Universities of Stirling, London and George Mason (US) and therefore numbers are limited.
