Marine Mammal Biology Option

Session 2013–2014

I would like to apply for a place on the Marine Mammal Biology Option in the summer vacation (12-19 July 2014). I understand that in order to attend the field course, I shall be required to:

  1. Provide all of the details requested on page 1 of this form
  2. Pay the full course cost of £500. A deposit of £100 is required and full balance paid 1 month prior to the start of the course.
  3. Attend any/all of the information sessions prior to the field course.

Accommodation will be provided at the Field Studies Centre, Millport (single sex twin room). All meals will be provided. Students are expected to make their own way to/from Millport. Fieldwork will involve time on research vessels. Please note that this is a joint course with students from Universities of Stirling, London and Glasgow and therefore numbers may be limited.
