Group Visits

The Hunterian welcomes group visits to its various venues.

Admission to the Hunterian Museum and Hunterian Art Gallery is free. Entrance to The Mackintosh House is also free and access is by guided tour only.

Each guided tour of The Mackintosh House lasts approximately 30 - 40 minutes.

For conservation reasons, the maximum number of people per tour is 10.

Groups of between 10 and 30 people should book an allocated time slot in advance of their visit to The Mackintosh House.

We have allocated time slots for larger groups (of between 10 and 30 people) at 10.00am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The Hunterian is closed on Mondays and cannot accommodate larger group bookings at weekends.

Larger pre-booked parties will be required to divide their group into smaller groups of 10 to access the House.
