5.30pm - 7.30pm
Hunterian Art Gallery

FREE - open to all

An evening for guests to enjoy talks by some of the Hunterian Associates, postgraduate researchers inspired by The Hunterian's world class collections.

The Hunterian Associates Programme provides a platform for postgraduate researchers to share knowledge and develop skills. This year thirteen Associates from the University’s College of Arts Graduate School have actively engaged with the extensive collections of The Hunterian, Special Collections and University Archives. From calico printing to Neolithic axes, their projects bring The Hunterian’s collections alive through initiatives such as podcasts, talks, online exhibitions, and blogs. This special evening is a showcase for these projects.

Come along to experience these fresh interpretations of The Hunterian’s world class collections. Prospective Associates for 2014 can also find out about the Programme.

Admission free - all welcome. Visitors to the event can also enjoy refreshments and 25% discount on admission to the major exhibition Allan Ramsay: Portraits of the Enlightenment.

This event can be booked through eventbright https://hap-open-evening.eventbrite.co.uk/
