Hunterian Associates Programme shortlisted for THE awards

The Hunterian Associates Programme (HAP) has been shortlisted for a prestigious Times Higher Education Award. The Programme has been nominated in this year's Outstanding Support for Early Career Researchers category.

The Hunterian Associates Programme (HAP) has been shortlisted for a prestigious Times Higher Education Award. The Programme has been nominated in this year's Outstanding Support for Early Career Researchers category. 

The Hunterian Assocaites Programme provides a platform for University of Glasgow postgraduate researchers to engage with The Hunterian's world class collections, using their research to offer new interpretations of the collections and to share their knowledge in creative ways through public engagement.

In HAP’s first year, eight students took part in five unique and inventive projects. The wide-ranging subjects including Japanese-influenced art, the poem prints of Ian Hamilton Finlay and Hunter’s book collection. A structured training programme included mentoring by specialist curators as well as sessions on writing for the web and how to deliver research with impact.
