The Hunterian Impact Report 2012 is now available online. The report highlights the impact of The Hunterian against the strategic goals of the University, including the renewal of the Hunterian Art Gallery and the opening of our special exhibition Rembrandt and the Passion, both of which received widespread critical acclaim. Other achievements include the launch of a new Hunterian brand identity and further expansion of our highly popular student engagement programme. We have also been working hard behind the scenes with our partners in Glasgow Life to develop our exciting plans for the creation of a Hunterian Collections Study Centre at Kelvin Hall.

The new report complements The Hunterian's new Academic Research Policy and Strategy, which sets out The Hunterian's future plans for caring for and developing our collections and communicating our knowledge about them.

I like the feeling of knowing you have had an impact on someone's day and made their visit more enjoyable…Eleanor Dillon, 4th Year MA Classics/English Literature

I enjoy the rush of pride I feel in myself, the MUSE programme, The Hunterian and the University when a group of visitors applauds at the end of a tour. Delivering tours has given me a sense of achievement and purpose outside my studies… Mairi Hamilton, 3rd Year MA History
