How to get to the Weipers Centre Equine Hospital

The Weipers Centre for Equine Welfare is situated within the grounds of Garscube Estate. As you come through the main entrance, you will pass through security. Follow the road and signs to the Weipers Centre for Equine Welfare. Facilities are available for loading and unloading horses.

Upon arrival at the Centre, please report to reception. You will be asked to check the details we have received from your vet to ensure all information is correct.

Reception is open between 8.00am and 6pm. If you are arriving out of hours, please stop at security (situated at the entrance to Garscube Estate), and they will inform the duty vet that you have arrived.

Loading and Unloading Facilities

Immediately adjacent (on the southern aspect) of the Centre is a large enclosed area of bitumen for unloading and loading horses from lorries and boxes. In addition, a loading ramp is available if required. Once your horse is unloaded, the veterinary staff that will attend to your horse will meet you and direct you to the region of the Centre in which your horse will be examined.

Please do not use the car parking facilities for loading or unloading of horses.

Parking

There are spaces for car parking directly next to the hospital.

Waiting facilities

The waiting room has tea/coffee facilities and bathrooms.
