Message from the Dean
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, here at the University of Glasgow. Our activities embrace the diversity of priorities in animal health, from the provision of state-of-the-art clinical care to international leadership in research into the causes of disease. We are, at one and the same time, a hospital, a research institute and a top-rated teaching establishment providing training of the next generation of veterinary practitioners and scientists.
As you will see from contents of this site, our aim is to ensure continuing excellence in our pursuit of knowledge and understanding of animal and human disease. Whether your visit to these pages is motivated by business, academic or social reasons, as an animal owner or scientist, as a student or a school leaver, I hope that you can access the information you require.
