Scientific Networking Award
Awards of between £750 and £1500 are available to Faculty of Medicine PGR students and Postdoctoral Researchers, to develop and maintain co-operative networks within the wider research community.
Bellahouston Medal
The Bellahouston Medal is awarded annually as the highest distinction for the excellence of theses submitted for the degrees of MD, DDS and PhD (medical and dental graduates only).
Joseph Black Medal and Hird Prize
The Joseph Black Medal and Hird Prize is awarded annually as the highest distinction for the excellence of theses submitted for the degree PhD (non-medical and non-dental graduates only).
Skills and Career Development Award
Applications are invited from Postdoctoral Researchers within the Faculty of Medicine with up to 5 years experience, to apply for awards up to a maximum of £4000 to cover the cost of a 'mini-sabbatical'.
