Undergraduate study

Through our four departments, we offer a wide portfolio of high quality degree programmes delivered by staff dedicated to teaching excellence.   Our programmes are held in high esteem by colleagues, nationally and internationally, and by graduate employers.   Career prospects of graduates from our programmes are excellent and there are many opportunities to continue study at Masters and Doctoral level.

Detailed information about undergraduate programmes and courses for both prospective and current students is provided on our departmental web pages, see links below, and in the subject leaflets available on the right.

From September 2009, we are delighted to make available a range of specially tailored faster route programmes in the Information & Mathematical Sciences.   These new faster route programmes offer all the benefits of the Scottish University system and the tradition of excellence for which it is renowned within a reduced time period of three years for Honours or four years for MSci. The programme provision is equivalent to the degree programmes offered elsewhere in the UK and is suitable for highly qualified entrants who know what they want to study and are committed to a qualification in their chosen discipline.   Have a look at our faster-route leaflets, available from the right-hand menu, for further information.

Academic leadership is provided by the Associate Dean (Learning & Teaching), Dr Quintin Cutts.
