Research
Leading-edge single and multidisciplinary research is conducted within the cognitive, mathematical and information sciences in all four Departments within the Faculty. We welcomed excellent results in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise with the volume of our submission judged 4* (world-leading) and 3* (internationally excellent) placing us, on average, amongst the top 10 in the UK.
