Biomedical Graduate Studies Open Day
Frontline Science in Scotland
Friday 20th November 2009, Wolfson Medical School
The three Faculties of Biomedical and Life Sciences, Medicine and Veterinary Medicine cover a huge range of biological research. The University of Glasgow, founded in 1451, is in the top 1% of universities worldwide, and the city of Glasgow is rated as one of the most exciting. Together the biomedical faculties represent a significant proportion of Glasgow University's research activity and form one of the largest such groupings of biomedical researchers in Europe. Research interests range from fundamental research in most areas of contemporary biology, to clinically relevant medical and veterinary research.
