Present and former students

The programme accepts students on the sole basis of academic distinction and the potential to excel in basic biomedical research. To this end we accept students with a very wide range of backgrounds and from all over the world. Previous students have had first degrees from the physical sciences, including Chemistry and Physics, in addition to more traditional life science degrees such as Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology and Zoology. Students have joined the programme from across the globe including the whole of the UK, continental Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia.
