Glasgow Course in Tropical Health

A course in tropical diseases has been annually run in Glasgow since 2003. It is aimed at people from a wide range of backgrounds with an interest in tropical health. For medical doctors the course is recognised by the Royal College of Physicians (London) for the Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene examination.

The course runs annually from mid-November to end of February.
Teaching takes place at the main university campus on Wednesday
evenings. There are normally  two blocks of full day teaching:  three
days in the last week of November (including two day' practical
training) and a week of teaching takes place in the last full week of
January.  This year's dates are as follows:

First evening session: Wed 11th November 2009 7.30 pm (repeats weekly thereafter)

Whole day block 1: Tue24th/Wed 25th/Thurs 26th November (no evening session this week)

Whole day block 2: Monday 25th - Friday 29th January (no evening session this week)
