Anatomy for Physiotherapists
The Laboratory of Human Anatomy is proud to present a new series of courses, "Anatomy for Physiotherapists". As the name suggests, these courses are specially designed to meet the needs and expectations of practicing physiotherapists. Each course is focused upon a region of the body and includes the latest information on relevant anatomy, pathology, biomechanics and clinical techniques.
Each course is run in the Laboratory of Human Anatomy on the main campus of the University of Glasgow. This allows a unique mix of heritage listed tradition and the latest technology to create an ideal learning environment. Each course features:
- REAL anatomy on REAL specimens
- Specially prepared specimens that allow joint movement to be SEEN
- Radiology (where relevant)
- Lectures linking structure, biomechanics and techniques
Attendees will also get private access to the wonderful Hunterian Museum of Anatomy.
