The Faculty of Biomedical and Life Sciences has an international reputation for research in the biological sciences. Our research covers a wide range of topics in modern biology from molecular and cellular biology to population ecology.

The Faculty offers an exceptional choice of degrees in the biological sciences with 20 separate Honours degree courses being available. All of our teaching has been given the highest rating in recent external reviews of teaching quality.
