Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education at the University of Glasgow is an exciting and stimulating place to study at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. New degree programmes include: BEd Honours in Primary Education; the MA in Primary Education offered on the Dumfries campus; the BA in Childhood Practice; and the PGDE one-year programme for primary and secondary education which offers 90 Masters-level credits. It has a robust, active and expanding research portfolio with international expertise in the areas of Adult and Lifelong Learning, Science Education, Teacher Education, Religion and Education, Social Justice and Globalisation and Education among others.

Professor Andy Furlong, Chair of Social Inclusion and Education, has been invited to Tokyo to give a lecture at an event to launch the Japanese translation of his book Young People and Social Change. - Challenges for HE in the age of Globalisation
