Supporting Children Through Family Change: The
Early Years

This full day course is designed to explore the
impact of significant loss (eg separation, divorce, bereavement...)
on young children. We will explore how early years staff can support
children and their families through loss and change.
This course will be led by Pauline Lynch and Mary Lappin.
Pauline Lynch is a Chartered Educational Psychologist
who has been working in local authorities with children and families
and has trained staff in a variety of areas including dealing
with challenging behaviour, anger management and coping with bereavement
and loss.
Mary Lappin is an experienced teacher who has been involved
in primary education in Scotland, London and Canada. She is currently
a lecturer at the University of Glasgow, Faculty of Education,
Department of Religious Education, and provides inservice to teachers,
headteachers and interested parties on Grief Education.
The cost of the course will be £120 per person,
including all catering.
This course can be commissioned by cluster groups or any interested
