The University of Turin (UNITO) is in the city of Turin in the Piedmont region of northern Italy and offers courses in all subject areas. It is one of the oldest universities in Europe in a rich cultural and historical setting on the banks of the river Po and the Western Alpine Arch.

Turin is one of the wealthiest cities in Italy and part of the industrial triangle of Turin, Milan and Genoa.
