University of Education Upper Austria

The Pädagogische Hochschule Oberösterreich (University of Education Upper Austria) is a teacher training college with approximately 1,700-2,000 students. The campus is located south of the Danube, within walking distance of the old town.

Linz is Austria’s third biggest city (approximately 200.000 inhabitants) and lies in the 'Heart of Europe', about half way between Vienna and Salzburg. The main range of the Alps approximately 70 km South of the city.

  • Vienna Airport - Direct Railjet and Intercity trains to Linz appr. every hour, Linz Airport - buses to Linz Central Train Station every hour. Linz has its own airport with limited flight destinations, so in some cases it might be easier to fly to Vienna then get the train to Linz.
