The Department and the West of Scotland
The subject area of Theology and Religious Studies ensures a friendly and supportive atmosphere, but does not limit its close interaction with wider aspects of life in Glasgow and the West of Scotland. Strong traditional links with the Church of Scotland and the Roman Catholic Church have now been added to by a growing educational link with the Islamic community and cultural links with the Glasgow School of Art, the Tron Theatre, the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Glasgow Film Theatre, the Burrell Collection and other important local institutions.
