Wang Yue obtained her LLB degree at the Law School of Xi'an Jiaotong University in China in 2005. In 2008, she obtained an LLM degree in Economics Law at Xi'an Jiaotong University. During her postgraduate time, she began to do some legal research projects on information security law. 

Wang is doing her PhD on Genetics Law, focusing on the legal and ethical issues on population genomics research in developing countries.

Wang's PhD is supervised by Professor Sheila Mclean and Dr. Colin Gavaghan.

Research Interests

Wang's areas of research interest include medical law and ethics, genetics law and information security law.
