Following clinical psychology training in Wessex, Professor Jonathan Evans moved in 1991 to work at the MRC Applied Psychology Unit (now MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit) in Cambridge. In 1996 he became the founding Clinical Director of the Oliver Zangwill Centre for Neuropsychological Rehabilitation in Ely. In October 2003 he moved to his current position at the University of Glasgow, where he is Course Director for the MSc in Clinical Neuropsychology.

Research interests include the cognitive neuropsychology of memory, the assessment and rehabilitation of disorders of attention and executive functioning, the application of new technology in cognitive rehabilitation and the treatment of mood disorder in the context of brain injury.

Professor Evans is co-author of, Neuropsychological Rehabilitation:  Theory, Models, Therapy and Outcome, published in 2009 by Cambridge University Press.
