Ms McClay is a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Chris Williams funded by the Helen Hay Pollock Eating Disorders bequest.  Ms McClay has experience of working with a number of different client groups including individuals with Parkinson's Disease, Autistic children and the carers of individuals with anorexia nervosa.  Her main research interests are community based mental health initiatives and the aim of her PhD is to investigate the effectiveness and acceptability of an online self-help package for bulimia nervosa, recruiting from community settings.
