Rivers and whitewater kayaking in Scotland.

River Roy (lower).

3.25 miles, drop 82 feet. Grade 3 (3+ rapid between bridges just before takeout.) Park at NN295847, walk down old track to put in at NN297845 207 feet down the gorge!.  Takeout at below railway bridge river left NN270810.

It was here that Roy tried to empty the river using just his Canadian as a bailer. It has to be said that his endeavours were not entirely successful.
