view Looking East over the A'Chir Ridge. The Mauvais Pas is the notch in the
ridge in the foreground. The route descends on the east side of the ridge about
half way along the level section to the South of the Mauvais Pas. Cir Mhor with
its prominent South Ridge is in the sunlight to the North. Goatfell is the
highest peak in the middle distance to the South.

of Sgurr a' Mhadaidh. The sloping ridge of Sgurr Thuilm is in the right
foreground. Bla Bheinn (Blaven) is in the middle distance. Ben Nevis is on the
extreme right of the horizon
